Thank-you one and all.As a parent or guardian of a music student at Downer Grove North High School, you are automatically a member of the DGN Music Boosters. All DGN Music Booster parents, as well as community organizations and businesses are encouraged to become Contributing Members. Individuals, families, organizations or businesses become Contributing Members when they financially contribute to the DGN Music Boosters. In return, each contributor is recognized in the music concert programs at Downers Grove North High School. The annual levels of contribution are as follows:

*The Fritz Wildermuth Leadership Circle is a giving level named in honor of Mr. Frederick P. Wildermuth, Jr., North High School's Principal from 1995-2004. Mr. Wildermuth's passionate support of the arts served and continues to serve as an inspiration to both the student musicians as well their supporters of the North High School Music Program.
The DGN Music Boosters have a long-standing tradition of specifically investing Contributing Member dollars into summer music camps for our students. Beyond the primary benefits that the attendees themselves receive though their participation in this camps, all of our student musicians benefit from new skills, ideas and the increased understanding of what is possible in terms of striving for excellence. We see the returns of our investments first-hand every time we attend the performances of our talented students.!
Summer Music Camps provide innumerable benefits to our students. Some of these benefits include:
- Actively building upon the previous year's gains by continually playing over the summer
- Exposing our students to some of their very best contemporaries in other districts and states
- Working with new college and professional level directors and musicians.
- Building friendships while sharing ideas and talents with other students from other parts of the country
- Raising the bar for our own students' musical expectations and understandings of what is possible to achieve
- Developing and increasing leadership skills through various leadership seminars and workshops
These benefits that you help to provide do not stop with the individual students who have personally attended these camps. New skills and understandings continue to be shared among peers in their respective ensembles over the course of their remaining time at DGN. Every time you listen to our students perform you are hearing the dividends of the generous investments that our Contributing Members have made in our students.
